“ Just got back from breakfast. The service was great. I asked about the buckwheat pancakes having never had them. The wonderful waitress (unfortunately I never got her name) brought me a small sample. I've experienced this at wineries and breweries but never for pancakes. The restaurant isn't fancy but it's homey and the pancakes were delicious. I actually went with the regular ones. It seems like a locals favorite. We're not in this area often but we'll be back again sometime. PS Fancy Gap is a stones throw from Hillsville, home of Frank Beamer. If you have to ask, then you're not a Hokie fan ”
